Abstract:
More and more profit-oriented enterprises are disclosing innovation results free of charge through academic journals and conference reports. This phenomenon known as "open knowledge disclosure" has aroused wide interest among scholars. This paper systematically reviews the research status of open knowledge disclosure by CiteSpace bibliometric analysis and traditional literature review. On this basis, this paper distinguishes the related concepts of open knowledge disclosure, analyzes the driving factors of open knowledge disclosure (internal factors and external environmental factors), expounds the main channels of open knowledge disclosure (journal papers and academic conferences), and analyzes the economic effects of open knowledge disclosure (based on the research of profit theory of innovation and signal theory). This paper argues that future research should focus on the emerging channels of open knowledge disclosure, promote the improvement of the theoretical system of open knowledge disclosure, analyze the synergistic effect of open knowledge disclosure and other monopolistic strategies, and pay attention to the practice of open knowledge disclosure in the Chinese context. Theoretically, this paper enriches the profit theory of innovation and signal theory, and provides a potential research direction for future research. In practice, this paper analyzes the feasibility of open knowledge disclosure as an exclusive strategy, which provides valuable reference for enterprise managers to make decisions.
