Analysis on Huji Wage Differentials of Migrants Based on the Perspective of Economic Development Level of Inflow Areas: A Case on Higher Educational Group

Abstract:This paper applies micro econometric method to analyze Huji wage differentials of higher educational migrants from the perspective of economic development level of inflow areas based on Mobile Population Dynamic Monitoring Survey Data in 2013.The results show that, there exists the phenomenon of Huji discrimination in the selecting inflow areas for the higher educational migrants,even though their mobility limits are less than the other education levels'group;and when the inflow areas selection bias is controlled, there still exists Huji discrimination in the higher educational migrants'wage, and degree of discrimination in developed areas is significantly lower than that in underdeveloped areas,in which the former is 42.70% and the latter is 65.38%.
