On the afternoon of July 7, the "Jida International Workshop on quantitative economy", organized by the Center for quantitative Economic Research of Jilin University, was successfully held in Conference Room A604 of Dongrong Mansion. The guest speaker, Associate Professor du Xiaodong of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, gave a wonderful lecture on the theme "Machine Learning and its Application in Economic Analysis". The workshop was presided over by Professor Sun Wei, director of the Center. Professor Zhao Guoqing of Renmin University of China, Professor du Fenglian of Inner Mongolia University, and Professor Yao Feng of the National Kagawa University of Japan also attended the lecture and had a warm discussion with Dr. du Xiaodong.
