As a cutting-edge technology in the Fourth Industrial Revolution, artificial intelligence (AI) has been increasingly applied across industries including manufacturing, healthcare, logistics, finance, and education, profoundly transforming production and lifestyles.
To better explore AI's far-reaching impacts on employment, industrial development, and regional economic growth while establishing an interdisciplinary academic exchange platform that fosters integration between economics, statistics, and computational science, the Center for Quantitative Economics of Jilin University, in collaboration with the Labor Economics Society's AI and Flexible Employment Committee and the School of Business and Management of Jilin University, will host the "AI and Flexible Employment Forum" and "Seminar on AI's Impact on Employment and Socioeconomic Development" at Jilin University on November 2, 2025.
We are now accepting paper submissions from scholars and welcome faculty and students from related fields to participate in discussions.
